The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) collaborated in the development of the program together with the Association of Spanish Scientists in the Netherlands (CENL), the Iberia Club of the European Patent Office, the Czech Center and the Embassy of The Hague Austria.

The aim of the project is implementing in research and innovation organizations an ethical governance system, aligned with the principles of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).

The objective of this collection is to provide researchers with information on the different opportunities available in Spain and thus contribute to an open and transparent research area.

Last 13th April took place in Berlin the International Symposium Material Cycles, organised by Greenlab Laboratory for Sustainable Design Strategies based in Berlin, with the support of FECYT and the Society of Spanish Researchers in Germany (CERFA).

The Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Spain, Simon Manley, and the Spanish Secretary of State for Research, Development, and Innovation, Carmen Vela, both participated on 22nd June 2017 in an event about Science advice in the Fundación Rafael del Pino.

Last 18th April, the Spanish School Vicente Cañada Blanch in London held a new session of “Science in the Classroom”. This time, students were part of a simulation game to design a product to tackle one sustainable developmental goal (SDG) such as draughts, pollution or gender inequalities

On April 17th, the German Research Summit 2018 took place in Berlin, bringing together more than 200 experts from the fields of science, innovation, economics and politics. 

Last 15th March, a new session of “Science in the Classroom” was held in the Spanish School Vicente Cañada Blanch in London. Javier Castellano, engineer in Ford and diesel-engines specialist, talked about the future of automotive industry to 15-18-year-old students. 

The 2nd edition of “Ambassadors for Science” came to an end last 22nd February in the Spanish Embassy in London. All participant pairs–composed by one scientist and one diplomat or sectorial counselor–shared their own experiences and talked about what they had learnt with this exchange programme.
