On Friday 26th of May, the “Science in the Classroom” project was once more underway in the Spanish School Vicente Cañada Blanch, in London. On this occasion, students were able to gain an insight into the astonishing world of material sciences, thanks to the Senior technologist in Zotefoams, Patricia Forcen Jimenez.

On the 22nd of June the Secretary of State for Science, Development and Innovation, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the British Embassy in Madrid, and the Rafael del Pino Foundation are jointly organizing a conference on science policy advice structures in the UK and in Spain.

Last 27th April, the Spanish School Vicente Cañada Blanch in London held another sesión of “Science in the Classroom”, delivered by the Spanish architect Alberto Villanueva Galindo, Associate Lecturer and researcher in the University of Ravensbourne and director of IDEA architecture office. 

The scheme “Ambassadors for Science” began in May 2016 in the United Kingdom with nine couples of scientists and diplomats, who shared a few days together to learn about their different professional worlds, and to share their experiences in a last session in October 2016.

Last 8th May, the Spanish embassy in London held the seminar “Science in Spain 2017 – Biotech Industry” Science in Spain 2017 – Biotech Industry”, which is part of the campaign “Science in Spain” that aims to promote internationally the Spanish system for science, technology and innovation.

The first session of the "Science in the classroom" program was held at the bilingual Berlin school "Friedensburg Oberschule" on 5th April, as a result of the collaboration of the Office of Education of the Spanish Embassy in Berlin with FECYT.

Last 14th March, students from the Spanish School Vicente Cañada Blanch in London had a new session of “Science in the Classroom”, which was delivered by Amparo Sánchez Mañez, from the Conselleria de Sanidad Universal y Salud Pública (Valencia, Spain).
