En la  jornada se incidió en oportunidades de financiación, alternativas profesionales y se celebraron múltiples talleres prácticos sobre competencias profesionales transversales. FECYT coordina EUESCADA, un proyecto para informar a estudiantes e investigadores de sus opciones profesionales.

Last 8th May, the Spanish embassy in London held the seminar “Science in Spain 2017 – Biotech Industry” Science in Spain 2017 – Biotech Industry”, which is part of the campaign “Science in Spain” that aims to promote internationally the Spanish system for science, technology and innovation.

EURAXIND is Horizon 2020 project aiming to strengthen relationships between industry and higher education. FECYT is a partner in this project coordinated by CRAC-Vitae, the global leader in supporting the professional development of researchers, experienced in working with institutions as they strive for research excellence, innovation and impact.

The scheme “Ambassadors for Science” began in May 2016 in the United Kingdom with nine couples of scientists and diplomats. One of the groups was composed by the Attaché for Transportation and Infrastructure Esteban Pacha and the Attaché for Maritime Affairs Miguel Núñez.

During the next twelve months, FECYT will coordinate the European project “EUESCADA” in which 6 more partners participate: the Universidad de Cantabria, the Universidad de Zaragoza, the Universidad de Granada, the Universidad de Castilla La Mancha, the Agencia Andaluza del Conocimiento, and Bizkaia:Talent.
