FECYT was involved in multiple aspects of the project, with special responsibility for improving the communication of citizen science projects towards "policy makers" (public managers and politicians at all levels of administration) and fighting misinformation and fake news

El pasado 6 de abril se puso en maracha la plataforma europea EU-Citizen.Science para el intercambio de conocimientos, herramientas, formación y recursos para la ciencia ciudadana. FECYT participa en este proyecto europeo junto al Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación y la Fundación Ibercivis.
For three years, academic experts in scientific policy and scientific advice and professionals in citizen science and communication - led by Science for Change (Spain) - will collaborate to support the European Union to co-design innovative strategies to improve scientific communication in European citizen science projects in order to improve their impact.
