The 2nd edition of Ambassadors for Science was launched in November 2017 with ten couples of scientists, diplomats and counsellors, who all shared a few days to learn first-hand about their respective professional worlds. One of these groups was composed by the Counsellor for Cultural and Scientific Affairs of the Embassy of Spain in the United Kingdom Miguel Oliveros Torres, and for the Professor in Synthetic Biology of the University of Warwick Prof Alfonso Jaramillo.

Last 18th April, the Spanish School Vicente Cañada Blanch in London held a new session of “Science in the Classroom”. This time, students were part of a simulation game to design a product to tackle one sustainable developmental goal (SDG) such as draughts, pollution or gender inequalities
Last 7th of April, a Science Communication workshop was held in Cologne, organized by the Society of Spanish Scientists in the Federal Republic of Germany (CERFA) with the support of FECYT.
