“Opportunities in science in Spain” will be an informative event, held next february 16th at the MIT in Boston with the collaboration of ECUSA (Spanish scientists in the USA, www.ecusa.es).

On December 1st the seminar "A Science Diplomacy Approach for Belgium" was held in Brussels, organized by Belgian institutions and supported by the European project H2020-ELCSID.

Last 9th December, Cristina Villa del Campo, postdoctoral researcher in the University of Oxford, participated in “Science in the Classroom” in the Spanish School Vicente Cañada Blanch in London. Her talk was entitled “Regenerative cardiology: Learning how to cure broken hearts”.

Policies supporting professional development within the field of research should guarantee the continuous development of knowledge, competencies and abilities of researchers in order to enhance their scientific performance and facilitate intersectoral, interdisciplinary and geographical mobility.

On November 11th, the second presentation of the new edition of "Science in the Classroom" was held at the Spanish Institute Vicente Cañada Blanch in London. Araceli Pérez Sanz, researcher at the London Natural History Museum visited 14-18 years-old students to tell them about her life experience and her career as a researcher

Last July the Secretary of State for International Cooperation and Ibero-America, Jesus Gracia, and the Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation, Carmen Vela, presented the Report on Science, Technology and Innovation Diplomacy.

On November 4, the event "International Cooperation in Immunotherapy for Cancer" was held at the Spanish Embassy in Berlin. The event, organized by FECYT in collaboration with the Cultural Office of the Embassy in Germany and framed within the Berlin Science Week, brought together medical groups from Spain and Germany who work in clinical research in leukemia.

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Society of Spanish Researchers in Germany Society (CERFA) and the Embassy of Spain in Berlin have issued a short guide with relevant information for Spanish researchers in Germany.

Last 7th October, the Spanish Embassy in London hosted the final session of “Ambassadors for Science”, the first shadowing scheme between scientists and diplomats in which they have a glimpse to both professional fields for a few days.

On the 25th of October 2016, the member of EURAXESS Spain bizkaia:talent opened its doors to fellow colleagues from other EURAXESS national networks in the framework of a study visit of the H2020 project EURAXESS TOP III.
