Women and Science. The Situation of Female Researchers in the Spanish Science and Technology System

Since the very beginning FECYT has worked to study female science and technology researchers. The main objective is to analyse the situation and work to improve it wherever possible. In this respect, and in addition to the measures taken in non-university education, a continued interest has been taken in the presence of women in all fields and levels of the Spanish Science and Technology System, thus responding to the indications provided by the European Commission and Parliament. This report is an updated version of the report carried out in 2005.
