FECYT, in collaboration with the Spanish Researchers in Japan Society (ACE-Japón) and with the Embassy of Spain in Tokyo are issuing a practical guide with relevant information for Spanish researchers that are planning to do work in Japan as researchers.
FECYT is the national coordinator of EURAXESS, an initiative launched in 2004 by the European Commission in support of mobile researchers in which 40 countries currently participate. EURAXESS provides support on practical issues that incoming researchers face when arriving at the country.
The Conference “Career alternatives for researchers” took place on April 5th in Valencia. The aim of the meeting was to present to participants the different career paths that a scientific training and expertise can offer –from the lab to science policy, science dissemination or entrepreneurial activities.
The First Joint Meeting of Spanish Scientists in the United States was held in Washington DC in September 2015. The report on the meeting, that gathers the abstracts and bios of the speakers, together with the main highlights of the conference, has just been published by FECYT.
